Andrew is resident in the USA and is a lawyer and experienced General Counsel. Andrew graduated from the University of Exeter and qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2002. He joined the magic circle international firm of Linklaters LLP, where he specialised in structured products, investment management and regulation. He was also seconded for periods to both Man and Goldman Sachs. Subsequently, Andrew has held a number of positions as General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer and Chief Privacy Officer with several global asset managers in London, Philadelphia and New York, including Franklin Templeton and Close Brothers. His expertise includes UCITS, AIFs and US mutual funds covering all asset classes including crypto. He has direct experience with key regulators in the US, UK/EU, Middle East and Asia. Andrew has held significant executive board positions and chaired oversight committees. He is currently Managing Partner of Transatlantic Regulatory Consulting and is also focusing on independent non-executive directorships. Andrew is a champion of diversity and inclusion, with a particular focus on LGBTQ+ representation at board level. He is also a diversity member of the CEO-sponsored NYSE Board Advisory Council Network.
